This is a space for presence, expression, and consent. Let’s stay off our screens and in our bodies.

🔕 The Dancefloor is PHONE free

We’ve got a media crew (wearing an EDSB lanyard) capturing the magic so you don’t have to. They film selectively (no more than 15 min during dance) and honor anyone’s desire to not be filmed.

🙅‍♀️ DON’T WANT TO BE FILMED?

🟡 Wear a yellow opt-out bracelet (grab one at check-in each time you dance).

Make sure it’s visible—our crew is trained not to film anyone wearing one. If you’re identifiable in a wide shot, we won’t save or post it.

📷 WANT TO TAKE YOUR OWN PICS OR VIDS?

✅ YES to:

— Filming yourself or friends OFF of the dance floor

— Group shots of dance floor 20+ ft away (no one clearly identifiable) 

— Tagging us on Instagram @ecstaticdancesantabarbara 💛

🚫 NO to:

— Focusing on/featuring strangers without their consent

— Any photos or videos on the dance floor

👉 It’s okay if strangers are incidentally in the background — as long as they’re not the subject, not clearly visible, and unidentifiable.
